Cookies and stored choices
A cookie is a small file a site can store on your browser and send back later. Clarity Junction uses that idea sparingly. The choice you make on the notice is kept in localStorage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us with each page view.
Types we use
Essential storage is the notice choice itself, so the banner does not return on every page after you choose. Analytics cookies are not set. Rejecting the notice does not lock any page, form, or field note. Accepting does not turn on a tracker.

Third-party requests
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can set or read cookies under Google’s own policies and sends technical data such as your IP address. We do not embed advertising or analytics scripts. Field-note images are files on this site.
How to manage or disable storage
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change your mind, clear site data for clarityjunction.click in your browser settings, then reload; the notice returns. You can also block localStorage or cookies in the browser. The pages still open. Fonts may fall back to the browser’s default serif and sans if the font host is blocked.
Impact of disabling
If you reject or clear the choice, the notice appears again and the reading room site continues to work. Disabling all cookies in the browser does not remove a booking you already confirmed by email. See the privacy notice for how long we keep that correspondence.
